Department celebrates graduate students at fourth annual symposium

Dozens of graduate students in the UIC Chemical Engineering Department gathered to discuss and celebrate their research at the department’s fourth annual Graduate Research and Career Symposium 2019 Nov. 1.
The event featured speed thesis talks, a research image competition, and a research poster competition. Graduate students also heard from several panels discussing how to be success researchers and graduate students and a workshop geared towards effective teaching and mentoring.
