We are interested in designing polymers that interact with cells to elicit a desired biologic response. We currently have projects in the areas of cellular differentiation and cancer treatment. By utilizing and mimicking biologic interactions into synthetic polymers, the desired properties of the polymer can be exploited. The biologic motifs allow the cells or tissue to respond in a natural manner to the polymer resulting in more natural regeneration, regrowth, or cellular death.
